Forms at Durango Tai Chi
At Durango Tai Chi, we practice taijiquan basic training and forms. Last update, I mentioned Yang Pan Hou's form. I show the first third as I learned it from Yu Xiao Lin in San Francisco at George Xu's Summer Camp. We also practice Wu (Chien Chuan), as taught by GrandMaster Wang Hao Da, apprentice of the legendary Ma Yueh Ling. We also practice Chen Style tai chi form as taught by Master Xu, who also teaches us Lan Shou Quan, a Southern Shaolin System, was well as Xing Yi Quan basic training. The foundation of everything tai chi is "Basic Training." Single, basic movements that help to develop internal awareness and power. Through teachers Susan Matthews and George Xu, I have developed a unique approach that allows dedicated learners an easy entry into home practice. Resolve to be better in 2012.
